Meet Sam
Hi, I'm Sam McMillan, owner of Pawsitive Training Solutions. I'm a qualified dog trainer with a Certificate IV in Companion Animal Services, providing training consults, dog walking and pet sitting services for all your beloved family pets.
Being surrounded by animals truely is my happy place, and you can often find me at dog beaches, the park or snuggling on the couch with a pooch! Your pets well-being is of the utmost importance to me and I will always treat your pets with patience, love and kindness.

I believe with a little patience, consistency, cuddles and a whole lot of love dogs can thrive, be happier, healthier and have a greater quality of life.
Any time spent with your best friend is fun and interactive. We carefully assess your dogs personality and needs, pairing them with other compatible dogs guaranteeing a fun and enjoyable walk.

Lexie
We have a senior Staffy who is anxious and just doesn't suit the kennel environment. Sam manages Lexie's medication without any issues and makes Lexie feel loved and like she is at a second home. She is included in all sorts of fun daily activities, like park walks and beach trips. Lexie is really excited to see Sam when we drop her off and it means we can leave her for a few days without feeling worried at all. We are so lucky to have found Sam!

We have been grateful to have Sam walk our 8 year old greyhound, Will. He is calmer and relaxed after his walks and he has certainly learnt good habits on lead, and is behaving well around other dogs. He is also responding well to new environments. Sam's expertise has helped with Will's adjustment from a muzzled greyhound to a green collar hound.

Sam has known our puppy Sally since she was 10 weeks old. During those cruical first few weeks Sam was amazing at helping us get Sally settled, teaching her manners and helping grow her confidence. Ever since then Sam has been an integral part of Sally's team and seeing her is definitely a highlight of Sally's week! We always know Sally is in safe hands, having a great time and having all of her good behaviours reinforced! Sam is friendly, will love your dog and is reliable and quick to respond to queries.
